Getting started – Installing LookAt Adobe Extension

Download the Adobe LookAt extension installer for Windows or for Mac OS and double-click the file that was downloaded. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the extension

** If you are facing any difficulties installing the extension with the installer, please follow these instructions

Open or re-open Premiere Pro

In your Premier Pro interface, click on window > extensions > LookAt


Sign into the app, and you are ready to start using LookAt from within Premiere Pro!

Creating a project and uploading a new video to LookAt


To create a new project, click the add new button at the top of the screen. Click the project thumbnail to enter it.

To upload a new video to LookAt, enter the project and click the upload button. Press OK to approve the upload


Adobe Media Encoder will automatically open and render your video to LookAt

You can see the upload in real-time on your LookAt panel


Once the video is uploaded, the new video will be available on your LookAt panel and is ready to be shared with other team members

Sharing a video

To share the video, click the share button at the right side of the video’s thumbnail


Type in your team members emails to share the video with them, click Add to finish

Uploading a new version for an existing video

Click the video settings button located at the right side of the old version video thumbnail

Click Upload and then OK to approve a new version upload


Once the new version is uploaded, there will be a ‘new version’ mark on the video thumbnail

If you have already shared the previous version with other team members, they will be automatically updated by mail that a new version is now updated in LookAt. If this version is the first one you want to share with other team members, enter the video and share it as if it was a new video

Importing comments to your timeline


In the LookAt panel, enter the relevant video by clicking on its thumbnail


Open the comments list menu on the LookAt panel by pressing the Comments list button

Click the export comments button and click OK to approve


The comments will now appear on your timeline and markers window as markers. Go through the markers to view the comments you were given

Troubleshooting

In case you are having difficulties installing the extension with the installer, download the LookAt Adobe Extension file from here and extract the downloaded .zxp file to your computer to the shared extension folder
